Description

I got this a few times when trying to add the server, but that has gone away. Now It seems my "Attributes" branch doesn't want to load now matter what I try. Every time it simply says that "The underlying connection was closed unexpectedly".

Great tool though. Really love Trac, and really love that someone has made something that works so well with VS2008.

I've been reading around, and it sounds like this might be an environment bug. I'm running Vista SP1.

Thanks for the compliment. Can you tell me, what happens when you refresh the attributes folder - try like 5-10 times.

I get some funny errors here at work when I try connect through our proxy and I'm pretty sure it's the proxy doing something funny. Are you connecting through a proxy?

Nope, no proxy here. I installed this on my XP machine, also running VS 2008 and I get the same issue-- so maybe it's not environment related after all.

I have refreshed the Attributes node probably 100 times and it still returns the same error. It's very strange.

I wonder if it could be how my Trac server is setup. It looks like the server is returning a 401 error everytime I get that message. In the VSTrac code for test purposes I replaced all of the instances of "login/xmlrpc" with simply "xmlrpc". When I give TRAC_ADMIN to anonymous, I can then view all of the nodes just fine.

It's almost as if it isn't passing through the header authorization information in some cases. It's pretty strange.

I'm running the tracd and not any real web server -- I wonder if that could be the problem.
